Technical Overview
This rear servo actuator uses BLDC motors and a 16-bit absolute-position optical encoder to control fin deflection on Long-Range and Medium-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (LRSAM / MRSAM) platforms. An in-built DSP controller and intelligent drive electronics are packaged into a compact, 28 VDC-operated assembly with in-built gear assemblies.
